Your duties in this role is to support service users in their daily lives including (but not limited to):Encouraging service users to have the highest quality of life Promoting independence and choice in their life Respecting and accepting service users social, emotional, sexual, religious and cultural needs Maintaining accurately daily records Supporting service users with their physical and emotional well being , assisting them with personal care, such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. The role plays a key part in promoting the service users independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care. Howson Care Centre is an 83 bedded Nursing Home, which is divided into 4 units. We provide care to people with mental health needs, learning disability and older adults. We are situated on a main bus route, approximately 6 miles from Gainsborough and 12 miles from Lincoln. The role is working full time, 161 hours every 4 weeks. There is some flexibility around shifts. We work on a rolling 2 week rota, ensuring alternate weekends off.
